Privacy Policy

KiwiAI is an AI consultancy based in New Zealand. For anything to do with this policy or the information we hold, contact us at hello@kiwi-ai.co.nz.

This website has no sign-up, no account and no contact form. You can browse it without giving us anything. Two kinds of information do get collected:

Automatically, as you browse. Which pages you view and for how long, the site or ad that referred you, your approximate location (derived from your IP address — city or region level, not a street address), and your device, browser and screen size. This arrives via analytics and advertising tools described in section 3.

When you get in touch. If you email us, we hold whatever you put in that email. If you book a call, you provide your name, email and a time to our scheduling provider, Cal.com, who pass it to us. We use those details to reply to you and to run the meeting — nothing else.

We use three tools on this site:

• Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate visitor counts. It sets no cookies and does not identify individuals.
• Google Tag Manager — the container that loads the tools below. On its own it collects nothing.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads — these set cookies and similar identifiers on your device so we can see how people find and use the site, and measure whether our advertising works.

Google processes this information on our behalf and under its own privacy terms. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at google.com/policies/privacy/partners.

We advertise online, and we use the data described above to do it. Specifically:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet.
• Those vendors, including Google, use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your past visits to this website. This is commonly called remarketing — it's why you might see a KiwiAI ad after visiting us.
• We use this data to understand which ads bring people to the site and which lead to a booked call. We do not use it to make decisions about you as an individual, and we never sell it.

You can switch any of this off. None of it is required to use the site.

• Turn off personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
• Opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on.
• Opt out of many advertising vendors at once via optout.networkadvertising.org or optout.aboutads.info.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or browse in a private window.

Google and Cal.com process information for us as described above. We also share analytics and advertising reports with the contractor who manages our Google Ads campaigns, so they can improve them.

These providers are based overseas, which means information collected through this site is stored and processed outside New Zealand, on servers subject to the laws of other countries. We only use providers that commit to protecting personal information to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

Analytics and advertising data is held by Google for a limited retention period set in our account configuration, after which Google deletes it. Emails and booking details we keep for as long as we need them for our working relationship with you, and then delete them.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it's wrong. Email hello@kiwi-ai.co.nz and we'll respond as soon as we can, and within 20 working days.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information or your request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

If we change how we collect or use information, we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top. This version took effect on 8 August 2026.
